Open Position 1: Hardware (HW) R&D Engineer
Your Mission: As a Hardware R&D Engineer, you will be a principal architect of the Alledio product line’s evolution. Your role is to transform concepts into sophisticated electronic solutions that will define the next generation of smart building control. This is a chance to work on the entire product lifecycle, from the first schematic to the final, market-ready device.
Your Playground Will Include:
- PCB Design and Layout: You will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, multi-layered printed circuit boards (PCBs) using industry-standard tools like Altium Designer, EasyEDA, and KiCad.
- Firmware and Embedded Programming: You will breathe life into hardware, developing robust and efficient firmware. A strong command of C, C++, and C# is essential, while skills in Python, JavaScript, and HTML will be a significant advantage for creating versatile, connected devices.
- Circuit Simulation and Analysis: You will ensure design integrity and performance by conducting detailed simulations using tools like LTspice, ADS, or CST, catching potential issues long before they hit the prototype stage.
- End-to-End Product Development: You will be a driving force in developing new products, guiding them from initial concept through prototyping, testing, and ultimately supporting their successful launch into mass production.
- Process and Technology Optimization: You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to continuously refine our technological processes, improving efficiency, reliability, and performance across the board.
- Technical Documentation: You will create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation that serves as the foundation for scalable production and future development.
- Manufacturing and Test Support: You will play a key role in developing custom test rigs, jigs, and tools that ensure our manufacturing process is as intelligent as the products we create.
Open Position 2: Mechanical Design and Development Engineer
Your Mission: As our Mechanical Design and Development Engineer, you are the crucial link between our electronic innovations and the physical world. You will give our technology its form, designing and engineering the mechanical components, enclosures, and assemblies that are as functional and robust as they are aesthetically pleasing. Your work ensures that our products not only perform flawlessly but also feel perfect in the user’s hand.
Your Playground Will Include:
- 3D Modeling and Design: You will be the master of form, using SolidWorks or Fusion 360 to conceptualize, model, and refine mechanical parts and complex assemblies for our product portfolio.
- Prototyping and Fabrication: You will turn digital models into physical realities. This includes hands-on creation of prototypes and samples using methods like 3D printing and CNC machining to test, validate, and perfect your designs.
- Hands-On Assembly and Rework: Your expertise in soldering (both SMD and THT) and assembling intricate printed circuit boards is vital for creating and repairing high-fidelity prototypes.
- End-to-End Product Development: From the first sketch to the final product, you’ll be deeply involved. This includes collaborating on new product development and supporting the smooth transition into manufacturing.
- Process and Technology Optimization: You will work alongside our hardware and software engineers to optimize our production workflows, ensuring our mechanical designs are manufacturable at scale.
- Technical Documentation: You will be responsible for preparing detailed mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and other technical documents required for production and quality control.
- Manufacturing and Test Support: You’ll contribute to the development of specialized test equipment and tools, ensuring every product that leaves our facility meets our exacting standards.
