Every intelligent hotel room should have a card holder – energy saving switch.
At Andivi we care about energy savings. This is why our aim is to equip you with a solution that will be energy saving regardless of the guest`s behavior. Energy saving switch is an indispensable part of the equipment that helps hotels save significant amounts of energy.
After the card is removed from the energy saving switch for more than 15 seconds, the controller:
- disables power within the room,
- switches AC to Economy mode (or off),
- turns off the lights and
- disables local window blinds control.
With the help of the card holder, the hotel operator can easily avoid unnecessary energy costs – for example when air conditioning would remain on while the guest is not in the room.
Programming: with software NDV-SW 2.1 and encoder for RFID cards NDV-E1
Working: only with room-specific Mifare RFID cards
Colors: Shiny white , champagne gold – matt, black – matt
Every card holder can be programmed for a selected room so it works only with RFID cards of that room. That means that if a guest wants to use any other card it won`t work. This is a great contribution to energy saving because when a guest leaves the room and take RFID card out of card holder that turns off all the lights in the room and unnecessary energy consumers and air conditioning remained on but in economy mode.
The Andivi NDV-ESS2 energy saving switch can be connected to Andivi TRC room controler or Andivi TRB thermostats in order to save energy as the guests leaves the room.
The presence of a guest in the room can be displayed in a visualization on the Webserver that enables remote monitoring and control of hotel room from reception.
Most important of all, guest can always carelessly leave and enter the hotel room while the energy and money saving room automation will invisibly work in the background.
