The Danalock V3 smart lock can be completely integrated with the Airbnb platform which the guests use to book your room or apartment.
You can send your guests a digital key directly into the Airbnb platform using the mobile app.
Upon their arrival the guests can simply enter the apartment with their mobile phone. You do not have to be there when the guests arrive or coordinate the handing over of the keys. Leaving the key under the doormat is no longer necessary.
And the very best part: the digital key is valid only during the rental period. After that the key becomes invalid automatically.

How to Integrate the Danalock with the Airbnb Platform?
If you still haven’t installed the app on your smartphone and configured the lock, then do so first.
Select “Menu” at the bottom right corner of the keychain screen, then “Smart home”
Select the “Airbnb” icon to set up the Airbnb-Danalock connection.
The first time you press the “Airbnb” icon, a link will ask you to log in with your Facebook or Google account.
Log in to your Facebook or Google account to accept the connection.
Confirm your connection between Airbnb and Danalock.
A connection confirmation ensures that the Airbnb and the Danalock services have been paired.
You will receive a request from Airbnb to confirm your email address to ensure that the email address you have entered is valid. You have now verified your identity.
How to send access to your guests?
When you want to send access to a room, select “Lock users” at the bottom of the keychain screen
Select “Invite guest.”
You now have three access level options:
- permanent access,
- recurrent access, which repeats itself in a specific time pattern,
- and temporary access.
Temporary access is advised for Airbnb tenants.
Send the access invitation by email or text message.
You can choose to receive notifications whenever this user unlocks and locks your door.
When you send an access invitation, the recipient receives a mail or text message with a link to http://my.danalock.com. The user then logs in.
If they do not already have a user account, they must first create one.
When the tenant has logged in he/she has to download the Danalock app and log in with the newly made user profile to get the access to the space. This will enable him/her access to Danalock smart lock.
When you select the Airbnb icon, you will receive a list of the accommodation announcements you have created in Airbnb.
If the list is empty, you haven’t created any announcement on www.airbnb.com yet.
When you receive a reservation, select that announcement on the list…
… to associate the Danalock with the reservation for that space.
Select “Share lock” and the tenants will have control of the Danalock when the reservation is due.
